East Valley High School Gym
Replace East Valley High School (originally constructed 64 years ago)
Project Overview

A new East Valley High School (~205,000 sq ft) will be constructed adjacent to the existing building, ensuring students remain on campus during construction, minimizing classroom disruptions and saving costs by eliminating the need for temporary portables. Once constructed, the old school will be decommissioned, abated and leveled.

Project Overview

A new East Valley Middle School (~105,000 sq ft) will be constructed adjacent to the existing building. Once constructed, 6th graders will transition to the new middle school, expanding educational opportunities and reducing future overcrowding at existing elementary schools. The old middle school will be decommissioned, abated and leveled.

Make necessary district-wide safety, security and infrastructure improvements across the remaining schools
Project Overview

The Facilities Committee identified critical facility and safety improvements across existing district campuses such as roof replacements, numerous safety and security projects, HVAC an efficiency upgrades, and targeted facility preservation projects. The district will apply state assistance dollars (estimated to be $55M) and $5M of the proposed bond measure towards these essential projects.
